ORDER:In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have issued orders declaring 14.11.2013 (Thursday) as General Holiday under NI Act, 1881 on the occasion of ‘Moharram’. The Chief Executive Officer, A.P.State Wakf Board, Hyderabad, in his letter 2nd read above, has requested to declare the General Holiday on 15.11.2013 (Friday), instead of 14.11.2013 (Thursday), on account of ‘Moharram’, as per the moon sight.
2) The Government, after careful consideration of the matter, decided to change the General Holiday from 14.11.2013 (Thursday), to 15.11.2013 (Friday), on the occasion of ‘Moharram’, under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. Accordingly, the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extra-ordinary Gazette of Andhra Pradesh:

In partial modification of the orders issued, notifying the Holidays under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, in G.O.Rt.No.5364, G.A.(Poll.A) Dept., dt. 22.11.2012, Government hereby declare that the Holiday on the occasion of ‘Moharram’ shall now be observed on 15.11.2013 (Friday), instead of 14.11.2013 (Thursday), which was declared earlier.
