O R D E R: -
The Samaikyandhra Inter Vidya Joint Action Committee has given a call for participation of all Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of Intermediate Education Department working in Government and Aided Junior Colleges in Samaikyandhra Samme from 06.09.2013, against the decision of the proposed bifurcation of the State of Andhra Pradesh. Accordingly, all the above teaching and non-teaching staff of Intermediate Education Department have participated in the Samaikyandhra Samme from 06.09.2013 onwards.
2. In pursuance of the agreement reached between the Government and theSamaikyandhra Inter Vidya Joint Action Committee, the Strike was called off on 10.10.2013. Among others, the following decisions were agreed upon:-
(i) The period of absence from 06.09.2013 to 10.10.2013 will be compensated by working for 25 days on holidays which will be treated as duty; and
(ii) This shall apply to all Junior Lecturers, Principals, Redeployed Staff, Physical Directors, Librarians, Contract Junior Lecturers, Minimum Time Scale Lecturers and Non-teaching Staff working in Government Junior Colleges and Aided Junior Colleges, who are participated in Samaikyandhra Samme.
3. However, after careful consideration and taking a sympathetic view, Government have decided that all the Teaching and Non-teaching Staff indicated in Para-2 above will be paid salary from 06.09.2013 to 10.10.2013 [35 days], duly compensating the 25 working days lost during strike period by working on 24 holidays and the remaining one day through working extra working hours, as per the scheduled given in the reference 2nd read above.
4. All the Drawing and Disbursing Officers of Intermediate Education Department are permitted to draw and disburse salary for the strike period to the Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff who participated in Samaikyandhra Samme in view of the adjustment of working days on holidays from 11.10.2013 to 09.02.2014. The Drawing and Disbursing Officers have to ensure that the teaching and non-teaching staff works in holidays while submitting the monthly pay bills to Treasuries in future.
5. These orders shall apply to all Junior Lecturers, Principals, Redeployed Staff, Physical Directors, Librarians, Contract Junior Lecturers, Minimum Time Scale Lecturers and Non-Teaching Staff working in Government Junior Colleges and Aided Junior Colleges, who are participated in Samaikyandhra Samme.
6. The Commissioner of Intermediate Education, Hyderabad, shall take further action in the matter accordingly.
7. This order issues with the concurrence of Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department C.No.1338/664/FR-I/2013, dated:16.11.2013.
