ORDER:
The Home (Ser.I)
Department in the reference 2nd read above, has requested for
creation of (134) supernumerary posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police
(Civil) by suppressing (134) posts of Inspector of Police (Civil)/RIs
(AR/APSP.CPL) to avoid reversions to the (42) existing Deputy Superintendent of
Police (Civil) and also to effect promotions to the (92) Inspector of Police due to revision of seniority of Inspectors of
Police as per the orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
2. Government
after careful examination of the proposal, hereby accord sanction for creation
of (134) Supernumerary posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Civil) by
suppressing (134) posts of Inspector of Police (Civil)/RIs (AR/APSP.CPL)until
the retirement of the incumbents or the need for such a post ceases or a post
of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Civil) falls vacant, whichever is earlier.
3. The
Home (Ser.I) Department shall take further necessary action accordingly.
