Sub: School Education – 1st term and 2nd term Holidays for the Academic year 2014-15 – Modification – Orders – issued.

All the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that as per the Academic Calendar for the year 2014-15 already communicated to them, the 1st Term and 2nd Term Holidays are scheduled as follows:

1st Term Holidays - 23.09.2014 to 05.10.2014.

2nd Term Holidays - 10.01.2015 to 18.01.2015

The Government of Telangana has decided to extend 1st Term Holidays by two days and instructed to reschedule the term holidays.

Accordingly, 1st Term and 2nd Term Holidays are rescheduled as follows:

1st Term Holidays - 23.09.2014 to 07.10.2014.

2nd Term Holidays - 10.01.2015 to 15.01.2015.

All the schools shall reopen on 08.10.2014 after 1st Term Holidays. The District Educational Officers are requested to issue instructions to all the Headmasters, MEOs, Deputy Educational Officers and all the private managements to adhere to the rescheduled term holidays and see that the instructions are followed without fail. Any deviation in the matter will be viewed seriously.

Further all the District Educational Officers are requested to advise all the School Managements to reschedule their academic calendar to suit the holidays declared by the Government i.e. from 23.09.2014 to 07.10.2014.
