4. From the Director, A.P. Govt. Text Book Press, Hyderabad,  Letter Rc.No.252/P2/2012-1, dated:05.11.2013.

ORDER:

The Director, A.P. Govt. Text Book Press, Hyderabad in the reference 4th read above has stated that printing of text books was changed from single colour to multicolour for 1st to 9th classes during the academic year 2013-14 and the syllabus of 10th class is going to change during the academic year 2014-15 to be printed in multi colour. A.P. Govt. Text Book Press is having old worn out machinery capable to print in single colour only and not suitable for printing in multi colour. Due to change of binding specifications, the following additional machinery is needed in addition to the machineries for complete in-house printing at Text Book Press :- 

 

2. He has requested the Government to arrange for providing necessary budget during the current financial year 2013-14 under following the Head of Account to meet the above expenditure :-

“ Major Head – 2202 General Education
Sub Major Head – 02 – Secondary Education
Minor Head – 106 –Text Books
Sub Head – 05 – A.P. Govt Text Book Press
Detailed Head – 520 - Machinery & Equipment
Sub Detailed Head – 521 – Purchases”.

3. The Government after careful examination of the proposal of the Director, A.P. Govt. Text Book Press, Hyderabad hereby accord administrative approval for an amount of Rs.6.57 crores (Rupees six crores and fifty seven lakhs only) towards procurement of new printing machinery for printing of text books at A.P. Govt. Text Book Press.

4. The amount sanctioned in para (3) above shall be debited to following Head of Account.

4202 – Capital outlay on Education, spots, Art & Culture.
01 – General Education
M.H 202 – Secondary Education
G H 11 – Normal State Plan
S H (04) – Govt. Text Book Press
520 – Machinery & Equipment
521 – Purchases.

5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Exp.S.E.) Department vide their U.O. No.003439/47/E.S.E/2014, dt:22.02.2014.
