The attention of all the Project officers of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in the State is invited to the procs cited wherein instructions have been issued to all the SMCs to follow similar procedure as per last year and procure uniform cloth to the children for the year 2014-15 by placing indent with APCO as per their requirement. They were also requested to release the amount to the APCO/stitching agencies directly through online transfer. As the schools have reopened from 12-06-2014, they are requested to review the same with the MEOs and see that all possible steps are taken to supply uniforms to the students and submit report on every Saturday till the process of supply of uniforms and payments is completed.

In the report they should furnish the details of SMCs in the district, No. of eligible students as per norms in Classes I to VIII, No. of schools received cloths from APCO, No. of Students supplied with uniforms and reasons for not supplying in respect of the  remaining schools and steps being teken to supply the same, problems if any in procurement of cloth, stitching and supply of uniforms etc. The smae is required to submit day to date report to the Government.
