Ref: Minutes of the PAB held on 1st March, 2017 to consider the SSA AWP & B 2017-18.

Sanction is hereby accorded for release of an amount of Rs. 43.035 Lakhs (Rupees Forty Three Lakhs Three Thousand Five Hundred only) to the District Educational Officers & EO-DPOs of SSA in the State towards Transport Allowance to 5738 CwSM, for the Pt Quarter release for the period from July, 2017 to September, 2017 @ Rs.250/- per month per child as shown below
Therefore, the DEOs & EO-DPOs of SSA are requested to pay the Transport Allowance to the eligible CwSN as above and take all precautions/initiatives on payment of amount to the eligible CwSN duly following the guidelines mentioned below:
i. The child is eligibLe to get Transport Allowance only for the actual expenditure incurred not exceeding maximum limit of Rs.250/- per month.
ii. The child whose attendance to IERCs is 50% and above of total working days in a month is eligible for Transport Allowance.
iii. The attendance particulars of the CwSN who attends IERC in a month should be furnished to the DPO by 5th of succeeding month duly singed by the Headmaster of the School where CwSN are enrolled for getting Midday Meal/School Uniform.
iv. The Transport Allowance has to be deposited into Child/Parent’s Bank Account which is linked to Aadhar Number directly from the DPO based on the attendance particulars received from the IERCs.
v. Child Profile for Transport Allowance has to be maintained in the IERCs as per prescribed format child wise who attends IERC.
vi. A register for Transport Allowance has to be maintained both at IERC and at DPO for audit.
Further, the DEOs & EO-DPOs of SSA are requested to furnish the expenditure particulars of the amount released to the District child wise to this office within (15) days from the date of credit of amount into the DPO Accounts.
The Finance Controller of this office is hereby authorized to draw the amount and release the amount to the DEOs & DPOs of SSA in the State as per Annexure immediately and the expenditure may be debited to Inclusive Education for CwSN as follows:
i) SC Component : Rs.10.3284 Lakhs
ii) ST Component : Rs. 6.0249 Lakhs
iii) General Component : Rs.26.6817 Lakhs
Total Amount : Rs.43.0350 Lakhs
