The attention of all the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio District Project Officers in the State is invited to the subject read above and they are instructed to follow the guidelines given below for implementation of the “Swachh Pathashala -Swachh Telangana Day” in all schools in the State.
The “Swachh Pathashala - Swachh Telangana programme” should be implemented on last Saturday of every month. If the last Saturday happens to be a holiday, then the last working day preceding the last Saturday is to be implemented as the ‘SwachhPathasha1a -Swachh Telangana Day”
The following activities to be taken up on the “Swachh Pathashala -Swachh
Telangana Day”
- Awareness on Personal Hygiene.
- Awareness on Hand wash.
- Cleanliness and neat maintenance of class rooms and school premises.
- Cleaning the approaches to Toilets and Class rooms.
- Cleaning and maintenance of Toilets and class premises in hygienic condition with the help of person engaged for sanitation.
- Cleaning of Debrises and bushes from the school premises.
- Cleaning of the Kitchen and Water tank etc.,
- Uploading of programmes conducted at school level in website.
The DEOs & E.O DPOs are directed to inform the MEOs and complex Head Masters, School Head Masters to follow the instructions and conduct “SwachhPathashala - Swachh Telangana Day” on last Saturday of every month by involving HMs, Teachers, Students, SMC/PRI members, parents and local NGOs etc., during the post lunch session i.e., 2.00 PM to 4.30 PM.
Further, informed that conduct meetings with heads of welfare schools i.e., Tribal welfare, Social Welfare, BC Welfare, Minority welfare and Private unaided schools managements on “SwachhPathashala - Swachh Telangana Day”programme and explain about importance of the programme.
The action taken report in this regard is to be submitted to the C&DSE & EQ SPD before 5th of the next month along with the photographs.
The DEOs & EO DPOs are further instructed to implement the above guidelines not only on the programme day but also inculcate the habit of maintaining personal hygiene and clean class rooms & School premises.
