Sub:- SCERT. Telangana. Hyderabad - Deputation for selected teachers/teacher
educators to participate in one day State level Scicnce Seminar on 28th February, 2018 on the occasion of Science day on 28th February - Reg.

Ref:- Rc.No. 608/Sci/SCERT-TS/2018, Dt. 17-1-2018 of this office.

The attention of all the District Educational Officers and other Teacher Education colleges is invited to the subject cited that SCERT is organizing one day Science Seminar on “EFFECTIVE  APPROACHES IN SCIENCE TEACHING -CLASSROOM EXPERIENCES” to teacher Educators) teachers and other fieldfunctionaries of school cducution on 28.02.20 18 on the occasion of Science day. The venue of the seminar is Godavari Auditorium, SCERT Campus, SCERT, TS,Hvderabad.

For the above seminar certain papers were selected by the scrutiny committee and the selected list is annexed with this order.

In this connection the DEOs, Principals of CTEs, DIETs and Teacher EducationColleges are requested to depute the selected candidates to the seminar and instruct them to report by 9.30 A.M 28th February 2018 at SCERT.

Further it is informed that the paper presenters may be instructed to prepare the PPT to highlight the contents of their paper and shall be handed over to seminar organizers in the form of soft copy and also requested to send the soft copies of the PPT to the mail ID tgscertmathsscience@gmail.com well in advance. If the PPT is in Telugu it shall be sent in PDF form only.

The paper presenters should not exceed 8 minutes presentation and 2 mim for interaction. The total time allotted for each presentation is maximum 10  minutes.

Further it is informed that the DEOs of Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad, Sanga Reddy and Medchal are instructed to depute 15 good science teachers from each district who stay within the vicinity of Hyderabad to witness the science seminar. The Principal of IASE, Masabtank, and DIET, Hyderabad are requested to send 10 teacher trainees each to witness the seminar proceedings.

The TA/DA will be paid only for the selected presenters by SCERT as per TSTA
norms.
